The simple reason NIOD has become so well established in such a short space of time is because the products are very good indeed. Clever marketing can only get you so far but a brand needs customers that make repeat purchases and give great word of mouth to become successful so quickly, especially in skincare where the market is saturated with new launches.
As I’m absolutely obsessed with looking after my skin, NIOD is my favourite range that falls under the Deciem umbrella of brands because it’s innovative, intriguing and hi-tech. It’s more expensive than the other ranges such as Hyalamide and The Ordinary (which are still really good) but I think it’s worth paying more to get the best.
However, very occasionally, an offer comes along where you can get some of the products at a heavily discounted price and full advantage needs to be taken of this. NIOD have teamed with QVC to create a TSV set where you get 4 of the most loved products with just under a 1/3 off which is an incredible offer. It goes live this Friday (3rd Feb) at 00.00am and will be available for only 24 hours. The 4 piece set has an RRP of £140 but will be on sell for £49. This is THE LINK where the offer will appear at 00.00am this Friday.
In the set you will find…
Copper Amino Acid Isolate Serum
This is my all time favourite product in the range and I’ve gone through bottles of it since it was launched. Copper Peptide is naturally found in skin and is a large contributing factor to maintaining a host of skin functions such a wound healing, collagen production, blood vessel development etc. However, levels decline with age but this serum will help repair and prevent the major ways in which skin ages.
Multi-Moleuclar Hyaluronic Complex
Another favourite, this pairs perfectly with the Copper Serum and includes 12 forms of hyaluronic compounds in a peptide-charged delivery system that not only plumps and hydrates but also helps with the delivery of other ingredients.
Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate
This is an eye serum I’ve been really keen to try for a long time. It addresses all the major signs of ageing around the eye area including the eyelid. I’ve only tried it a couple of times but I love its liquid, light, silky and fast absorbing texture. I’m quite weary about eye products that are too heavy and creamy as I fear they cause not treat puffiness. I suspect this will be another NIOD product I will buy again and again.
Admittedly, I wasn’t naturally drawn to this product because it sounded a bit hippyish for my taste but now I’ve tried it I understand why it’s in the range. It’s a cleansing balm that can also be used as cleansing mask (leave on for 5mins) that contains saponins (chemical compounds) taken from Ayurvedic plants. It’s pH balanced and deep cleanses the skin in a non-aggressive way. The directions suggest that it’s used every other day and not around the eyes. It also says that it can leave skin feeling a bit dry at first but that hasn’t been my personal experience. However, it did leave my skin feeling and looking very clean, fresh and bright.
I’ve only touched on the technologies that are included in the above products but the NIOD site has a lot more depth info on how and why they work. This post contains press samples unless otherwise stated. Please visit my Disclosure page for more information
