Though she’s far too discreet to confirm this, rumour has it that Dr Frances Prenna Jones is the cosmetic doctor that a fair few A-listers turn to for their anti-ageing procedures. She has her own clinic in Mayfair that offers a whole raft of non-surgical treatments that even includes options for hormone balancing and hair loss. She’s also launched a tightly edited and impressive looking skincare range that’s available at Selfridges as well as her own clinic.
At the recent AestheticMed Live Dr Prenna was one of the speakers who gave an informative talk, How To Achieve Flawless Skin. She has an internal and external approach to anti-ageing and puts a lot of emphasis on having a thorough consultation with the patient that involves taking a detailed history, examination and discussing expectations. Then a bespoke treatment plan that includes home care is devised in collaboration with the patient.
Dr Prenna Jones also takes time to educate on how the skin ages and what she can do. As she explains, ‘I think the more time you spend educating patient, the more compliant they’re going to be. That way, the patient takes ownership of whatever treatment plan we decide on together which ultimately results in a better outcome”.
Following the talk I managed to put a few quick questions to her:
