One of the only loyalty cards I use regularly is the Boots one as the points really do build up. It’s now become a bit of a tradition for me to accumulate my points until they equate to about £100 and then spend it in one go. I’ve recently done one of my big points shop so thought I’d share what I chose…
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune EDT
This was my biggest splurge. I’ve really fallen for the Aqua Allegoria range of fragrances and they’re such perfect scents for Spring/Summer – happy, light and fresh. This is the third one I’ve bought blind and I’ve yet to be left disappointed. Quite the opposite, in fact. Pamplelune is probably the most well known and is a sparkling grapefruit with a softer vanilla and patchouli dry down. Another big draw is the lovely bottles and the reasonable price . Pamplelune is £47 for 75ml and available HERE.
Listerine Advanced Whitening Mouthwash
I included this mouthwash in my favourites of 2015 and it’s still something I use everyday. It really seems to brighten my teeth and stop stains building up. I also like the taste and it makes my mouth feel properly fresh and clean. I ordered three as I always stock up on the basics that I use all the time. There’s also a special promotion on at the moment where you can send off for a free Maybelline Lipstick. A 500ml bottle is £5.60 and available HERE.
Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo
Everyone needs a detox shampoo and I was keen to try this relatively new one after reading good reviews for it. I’ve only used it once so far but I’m pleased with the results. I didn’t realise until after I bought it that it’s not for people with colour treated hair which is a bit of a bummer as I dye my greys every few months. However, I still feel the need for a shampoo that removes residue particularly as I use ‘London Water’ which is about as hard as it gets.
Boots Pharmaceutical Brightening Eyes and Dry Eyes Eye Mists
This the first time I’ve tried an eye mist and though they’re more expensive that drops I think the extra cost is worth it. They’re so much easier to use and more hygienic too. The Boots Eye Mist range is on a ‘buy one get one half price’ offer and and it wasn’t a hard decision to opt for one to hydrate dry eyes and one to brighten them. They definitely do what they say on the box! They’re £12.49 and available HERE.
