Chloro Plasma by Perricone MD is a mask I’ve been relying on a lot recently. Though I like the idea of sheet masks, I never get round to using the ones I have because you can’t do anything else while wearing one. I’ve found it’s far better to have a few traditional masks that you can easily slap on and go about doing other things while they get to work.
The Chloro Plasma Key Ingredients And Benefits
Blue-Green Algae – This is a nutrient rich substance containing amino acids, vitamins and fatty acids that nourish skin.
Chlorophyll – This detoxifies skin and fights free radicals.
Sulforophane – This is a phytonutrient from broccoli that repairs damage caused by UV rays
Green Tea – This powerhouse has an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effect.
This mask is a real multi-tasker and is applied to the skin for 5-10mins before rinsing off. It can be used 2/3 a week.
I especially look forward to using it after a day when I’ve been on the tube a lot and my face is feeling grimy. Afterwards my skin is clean, soft, revived and brighter but not in the least bit dry, which can be a side effect of some masks that detoxify. In fact, one of the reasons I like it so much is that it doesn’t dry out completely to the point that it feels uncomfortable and cracks. This also means it comes off with one wipe and you don’t need to stand at the sink rinsing repeatedly .
The down side to Chloro Plasma is the price, which at £67 for 59ml isn’t cheap. However, it’s really easy to use and gives skin a visible boost. Also, I think you get more value by paying more for something that’s going to get finished rather than less for something that ends up gathering dust.
