Obviously, this isn’t a beauty product but I wanted to include it anyway because it’s new and beautiful. This shawl, along with two others, is part of the third and final release from Louis Vuitton’s Foulards D’ Artistes collection. This is a project that’s seen Louis Vuitton asking street artists for a signature piece of their work to put on a scarf or shawl. Andre is a parisian graffiti artist and this shawl features his Mr A character. Unfortunately, it’s hugely expensive at £555 and it’s available now at Louis Vuitton stores.
2. Olay Regenerist Luminous and Olay Regenerist Upgraded
On 1st April the new Olay Regenerist Luminous range along with the original but upgraded Reginerist range will hit the shelves. The Luminous products are aimed at those who are under 35 and the improved original Regenerist range is for the over 35’s, like myself. I will be definitely investing in this! You can read more about it here.
3. Studio Sculpt Lash Mascara – MAC
This mascara comes with a new and ‘innovative’ brush which is designed to capture and separate each lash with effortless precision. The formula is creamy which helps lashes keep flexible and the combination of the brush and formula promises thick, full and lengthened lashes. It’s available from next month at MAC online and in stores. I expect it will cost £14.
4. Pastel Brights Eye Palette – Bobbi Brown
This is an eyeshadow palette Brown that I think will work best on tanned skin or those with deeper skin tones. The 6 shades are made up of 2 mattes and 4 metallics. There’s an ivory that I think is supposed to used as a base and a medium grey for lining and definition. The rest are pastels. Also included is a double ended brush. Expect to it see for sale at Bobbi Brown for £37 within the next six weeks.
5. Magic Nail Polish Remover For Hands and Feet – Bourjois
Following on from the original nail polish remover in a tub Bourjois are bringing a new version that you can use on your toes. A sponge soaked in remover comes out of the tub attached to the lid so it can be held and used without risk of messing up your manicured finger nails. I hope l’ve explained it in a way that makes sense!. Anyway, it will cost £5.99 and expect to see it in Boots very shortly.
6. Facial Hair Removal – Tweezy
This little gadget is made of a metal spring and rubber grip handles. The spring action removes the hair by the root and apparently is so easy to use you don’t even need a mirror but I’d question that. It can remove hair from the upper lip, cheeks, chin etc. It costs £10 and is available from Victoria Health.
7. Michael Angove and Jo Malone Collaboration – Limited Edition
Michael Angove is a fine artist and designer who has designed textiles for Liberty and whose range of home products include tables, chairs, trays and ceramics. He has now put his talents to designing a range that includes candles, diffusers, surround sachets and soaps for Jo Malone. It launches on 24 March and the prices range from £20 to £56.
8. Lip Lover – Lancome
This is a new non-sticky gloss from Lancome. It’s available in 18 shades but I’m not sure that we’ll get them all here. They’re describing it as a 3 in 1 elixir which has 1. a balmy base for 8 hours of moisture, 2. a smoothing layer which gives a dewy shine that reduces the appearance of lines and 3. saturated pigments for high colour. They’ll cost £18 and will be available from 1st April.
9. Exfoliator – indeed Labs
This is a ‘does what it says on the tin’ product from the brand behind Hydraluron and Nanoblur. It will be available at Boots later on this month. You can find out more and there’s a chance to win a tube of it over at Caroline Hiron’s site.
